Hi, I’m Steve, the founder of SPACELAB.
I created this small company because space and science has always fascinated me. The vastness of the universe, the ingenuity of human exploration, and the beauty of science have been lifelong passions of mine. What started as a personal hobby of building models and space-related creations eventually grew into something I wanted to share with others who feel the same sense of wonder.
At SPACELAB, every piece you see is hand-built by me right here in Japan. I put great care into every detail, from the design and craftsmanship to the final finish, because I believe the things we surround ourselves with should reflect the same sense of quality and passion that inspired them. Whether it’s a scale model of a historic rocket, a futuristic spacecraft, or another space-inspired creation, each item is made with intention and love.
My goal with SPACELAB is simple: to create beautiful, high-quality pieces that celebrate space exploration and science, and to share that excitement with fellow enthusiasts around the world. More than anything, I hope the things I make can spark curiosity and inspire others — especially the next generation — to look up at the stars and dream bigger.
